Uni Systems Data Centre, one of the safest and agile in Greece, is architecturally designed to ensure 99,99% availability.

Our Data Center offers dynamic operational capabilities to multiple applications and systems, for a wide range of customer base, while in the same time fully supports Uni Systems Cloud portfolio (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with faultless access to all systems.

The Data Center facilities cover almost 800 square metres in total, consisting of a) Computer room, b) UPS room and c) Ancillary areas. The area selected to serve as the Computer Control Centre, located in an underground area, is isolated from the surrounding environment to prevent sabotage and offers ready access to equipment.

All areas meet specifications for easy access of staff throughout the systems, and all required distances are met for the opening of system doors to access internal zones.

CCTV
Access Control equipment supports full records, reporting and automatic system de-activation in the event of fire.Monitoring and image recording equipment (CCTV)  24x7x365 in each and every zone of the Data Center.

Air Conditioning & ventilation
Air-conditioning systems, down flow in the Computer Room, Telecommunication Node area and UPS area, connected in an N+2 mode.

Fire detection system
Dual-zone Fire Detection/ Fire-Fighting equipment for the Computer Room, as well as a separate, dual-zone system for the false floor. Identical, dual-zone equipment is also installed in the UPS area.Fire-fighting, FM200 material, fire-fighting equipment with separate fire-fighting panels in each area and zone. Materials capable of resisting fire for 90 minutes.

Building Management System 

BMS (Building Management System) is operational for Data Centre surveillance and smooth operation.
Uni Systems Data Centre area installations are in compliance with Greek State provisions, as these apply to each installation category, as well as with DIN, VDE, BS, NEMA standards, where corresponding regulations do not exist for the Greek State.

Data Center Security Management Certificate according to ISO27001:2005
In March 2011, Uni Systems’ Data Center was certified according to ISO 27001:2005 in terms of the provision of hosting services for information and telecommunication equipment systems.

Uni Systems has extensive experience in confidential information management, which allows it to host highly sensitive data of its clients (Banking Institutions, Telecommunication providers) in its Data Center facilities.
