Uni Systems wins gold at e-volution awards 2014

The award recognized Uni System’s work on the e-invoicing project of over 10.500 pharmacies, the biggest e-invoicing project implemented in Greece so far. Furthermore, Uni Systems shared the Gold distinction in the E-services category as a member of the joint venture paperless@connect (an Impact S.A. initiative).

Uni Systems won one of ten gold awards given at the ceremony which was organized for a third consecutive year by Boussias Communications and ELTRUN, the E-Business Research Center of the Athens University of Economics & Business. The awards are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks and the Greek e-Commerce Association (GRECA).The e-Invoicing solution, part of the paperless@connect platform, was provided to over 10.500 pharmacies and implemented the monthly settlement of prescriptions by the pharmacies (all members of the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association). The project was delivered within the framework of the Center of Computerized Processing of Medical Prescriptions of the National Provider of Medical Services (EOPYY).

Mr. Christos Smyrnios, Public Sector Sales Manager, collected the award on behalf of Uni Systems and stated that “The Gold distinction awarded at the e-volution awards 2014 for the e-invoicing of pharmacies project, proves yet again that our Company evolves by using innovation to tackle the multiple challenges of its projects. The main challenges in implementing the paperless@connect solution solution were the exceptionally large number of recipients that had to be invoiced within five (5) days as well as the transmission and storage of invoices within 24 hours. However, massive cost savings of 90% have been achieved as well as speeding up and optimizing the overall invoicing procedure.
